Bang Bang ! this is the hardest question ever to answer.   I Think there is a ground shift happening in the social media industry. not just in news because of the widening reach  of social media network. I personally think we still need journalist , Even though we live in the changing world where everything is done via online.Today its all about personal media.In the old days, a reporter was given a lead or went out to find a story. Today, many stories are received third hand (sometimes even fourth or fifth hand) through Facebook  or Twitter or Digg so that by the time a story is assigned to the reporter, then its in some form or another is already out there in the social media universe. The reporter now has to take that into consideration and find some angle to the story that is not yet being talked about.

 As the public relations individuals we can also do it ourselves by just creating the social media account for the organization we work for  to interact with our target audience and also make use of billboards to get the newsworthy information  out there. So this is to say   with or without journalist our  organization can survive , its still going to be noticeable .Social media are wonderful even though am not the fan, there is 24/7 online shopping , can also complain or get detailed information about that certain product you need, its fun you get the hard news immediately even though social media are proven not to have accurate information. .

it is very important to follow people from the same profession as yours just to see how things are done because no one is perfect.We still need journalist like Jonah Fisher who still continue with their job regardless of bad experience in the industry as he was harassed by Juluis Malema during a press conference  calling him a 'Bloody Agency' just because he was doing his job.

I admit, and saw it all from fresh new talented to hot collaborations and dope videos. Happy independent artist, with awesome confident. Well I am talking about everybody’s favorite Maelo Phoolo A.k.a Cassper Nyovest. I mean who doesn't know this cute singer? Yes I said cute I must say if not, you are embarrassed. Me myself and I didn't  know about him but thanks to my mom.

It’s funny how I first knew Cassper, during festive season my mom kept on singing “Gusheshe “over and over again which is one of Cassper’s lovely songs I mean my mom is years of age  to go around rhyming like that , I was annoyed and obviously I had to ask mommy who sings that song? Then she replied Its Cassper honey. Wow few seconds I realize how  boring and less interested on hip hop  music ,I mean how on earth at this age I happen not to know this trending guy, I got served.

Trust me I couldn't wait to see his music video just to see this artist who spins my mom’s mind and world around. It’s been an interesting year in the world of African hip hop. What happened to kwaito?#dead#? To be honest I do admire this artist just because of his unique style of approach, especially his latest album Tsholofelo. Wait.Wait! For those who do not know Tsholofelo is Cassper’s little sisters name and it means “hope”  he recorded this album under his record label called press play music.  It’s clear that he is the good examples in the music industry.

No ways is it jealousy? Well let face it what hip hop without little beef? This is dumb and  nerve wrecking really what’s up with the lame attitude.why would these two male artist act like kidois? , Cassper says AKA goons pulled a gun and  I actually thought beef involved words to my surprise welcome to the hip hop world according to Cassper his beef with AKA has gone to the gun and bullet level. This happened when Cassper was schedule to perform on SABC1 live amp on Friday night but he did not. I guess it worked for AKA though it’s    shocking i mean really now ! who does that? So it’s pretty clear that these two male artists do not like each other’s company. I conclude that they not the birds of the same feather because they do not flock together. How come they clash like that? Threatening someone is never cool wrong move AKA Oops. As a public Relations Practitioner i conclude that this was a setup to get these male artist famous because after this incident everyone was talking about them on social media .
